For ages, this path was the most important route of communication between Riva del Garda and Tione and Val Rendena. This paved road/dirt track goes from Larido to Durone Pass and it was one of the first routes used to promote and divulgate by the cooperative system of Val Rendena and Val del Chiese. In 1890 it acquired more relevance due to the foundation of the first cooperative in Villa di Bleggio. Author’s tip: along the path you will find: the first Cassa Rurale and the first Cooperative House in Larido, a wide green grassland surrounded by mountains, at the Durone Pass, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: Rango.

The ‘Sentiero della Cooperazione’ starts in the village of Santa Croce, just above the church. At the junction with the main road, we turn left, descend to the church of San Giuliano, where we turn left, here begins a false floor that leads us to Vergonzo in a few minutes. We continue along the road through the village and then turn left, at the church we keep to the right and at the next fork we turn left and reach the church of Duvredo. Here we keep to the right and then at the third crossroads we keep to the left, then continue straight on until we come to the crossroads and here we turn right.
Continue and you will find the first houses of Bivedo until you turn right and then immediately left, climb up and the path begins. You keep to the left and reach the small village of Larido. When you reach the Museum of Cooperation, turn right and then left and right again to reach the Church of Bivedo. From here continue to the right until you reach the last part of the village and continue to the right and in a short time you will reach Santa Croce and the starting point.
From Ponte Arche/Comano Terme follow the signs to Bleggio and after about 6 kilometers, you will reach Larido.

This excursion is quite simple and presents no particular difficulty. However, we still recommend you to wear suitable footwear, a hat, sun screen and sunglasses. And be sure to bring water!
