Aion - Frammenti dell'anima: Art exhibition by Laura Urbani curated by Stefania Santoni
Laura Urbani is an emerging artist from Trentino: her artistic narrative is the story of a very dense and profound personal experience. A young self-taught artist, Laura lives with a rare disease, which since 2019 has led her to develop a stylistic and expressive research through abstract art.
In her multi-material works, pain and suffering are communicated sublimated in a homage to the beauty of fragility and the richness of the authorʼs lived experiences. The Greek word Aion indicates eternal time, different from chronological time (Chronos): it is a dilated dimension, where even in illness we find the vital impulse to give light to our soul.
The Durendal Association of Arco will set up Laura Urbani's exhibition project "AION. Fragments of the Soul". The association's activity exclusively pursues the promotion of culture and art, in the fields of analytical psychology, philosophy, history of religions, human sciences, art and other directly or indirectly related disciplines.
The desire to promote culture and art also includes Laura Urbani's exhibition: a reflection on time and the soul.
