The Ledro Alp Reserve and the Ecomuseum of Judicaria, that includes the Tenno area and the Giudicarie Esteriori, is an area that was recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2016. This accolade is given to those areas where the conservation of biodiversity reconciles with the sustainable use of the natural resources in favour of the local communities, thanks to an appropriate management of the environment.
In just thirty kilometers, the Biosphere area covers a drop of over 3000 meters, including very different environs, from the Brenta Dolomites peaks to the farming terracing in the Tenno municipality overlooking Garda Trentino.
