An experience to be lived
A fascinating journey to discover the wonders guarded by the Santa Massenza power station. A surprising experience, through unprecedented routes, where water becomes energy. The power station is part of a complex system that, through a vast network of tunnels, penstocks and hydraulic works, brings water from the peaks of the Adamello to Lake Garda. The building of the power station is the work of architect Giovanni Muzio, already the creator of the headquarters of the Catholic University and the Palazzo della Triennale in Milan, as well as the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. The spectacular turbine hall of the Santa Massenza power station, with a volume of over 150,000 cubic metres, is entirely excavated in the rock at a depth of 600 metres.
