The old military road at Passo Tremalzo is a must-visit for bikers and botanical enthusiasts thanks to its breathtaking bends and 21 endemic species that grow in this extraordinary place. The views stretch as far as Mount Adamello from here!
How to get there: Set off from Passo Tremalzo and continue along the old military road (SAT 421/MTB 779, 40 minutes).
Even at high altitudes, you can still catch a glimpse of the blue: just walk through the tunnel and take the path to your right to get to the Marogna viewpoint, which boasts views of Lake Ledro. Bikers can continue along biking trail 779 towards Passo Nota and Passo Guil and enjoy views of Lake Garda before returning to the valley or continuing on to Malga Palaer, Pregasina, and Riva del Garda (biking trail 733).
