A spectacular balcony overlooking Lake Garda (almost a thousand metres below) where you can relax and savour typical Trentino dishes in a place that has for centuries been one of prayer and meditation. The Rifugio Monte Calino “San Pietro” was an ancient hermitage close to the little church of San Pietro. In 1930 it was bought and rebuilt by the Riva branch of SAT (Association of Trentino Mountaineers), who restored the building in 1996. Access is very easy, through the villages of Ville del Monte or Calvola, where a dip into the past begins. When you get to the refuge, you’ll find children are also catered for with a meadow with a little playground.
