Trattoria Pié di Castello is a family run restaurant. Originally founded in the late nineteenth century by Eugenio and Giuseppina Benini, it has been handed down from father to son until this day. Now at its third generation, Giorgio Benini and his wife Dolores work closely with their daughters to assure our customers enjoy quality food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Trattoria Piè di Castello stands in an ancient house dating back to 1663, situated in the medieval town of Cologna di Tenno, 4 km from Riva del Garda. The large restaurant is made up of numerous small rooms leading into one another. This, together with the wooden furniture, the terracotta floors, the numerous plants adorning the premises, the walls decked with decorative branches, and the painstaking attention paid to every detail, creates a rustic, friendly and familiar environment. Upon entering, you will feel as if you have stepped into a warm mountain chalet.

The warmth of family values that have always marked this venue will project you into an atmosphere of yesteryear.

With regard to the food, the key words are wholesomeness and respect for tradition. Everything revolves around our speciality, carne salada, served in a variety of ways. In addition, you can also taste other traditional dishes from our region.
