This itinerary is completely level, suitable for families and all this kinds of bikes.
This is the longest Family Tour suggested by Garda Trentino: 15 km. However, it presents no efforts and it is completely flat, with no ascents. This loop follows mainly paved cycle paths, and it is suitable for all kinds of bikes.
From Riva del Garda the tour goes to Arco and then back.

Departure from the tourist information office in Riva del Garda heading in the direction of Torbole sul Garda on the cycle path which has stretches jutting out over the lake. First cross the bridge on the River Sarca, then head north along the river as far as Arco and the sports grounds right beside the town centre. Continue down via XXIV Maggio past the Evangelical church to join the cycle path which runs along the main road (via Santa Caterina) to the underpass beside the shopping centres. Coming out of the underpass take the first turn left and continue for a short distance, then turn right pedalling along tracks through the fields as far as the church of the little hamlet of San Giorgio. Here you turn right and head along the main road. At the stop sign turn right and at the junction turn left. Continue to the stop sign where you turn left into via Passirone. When you come to the san Nazzaro roundabout turn left and take the cycle path in the direction of Riva del Garda. At the end of the cycle path cross the main road (viale Rovereto), then it is only a short distance along the cycle path back to the departure point.
The main towns in Garda Trentino - Riva del Garda, Arco, Torbole sul Garda, Nago – are connected by several urban and intercity bus lines which will take you to the starting point of tours or in the immediate surroundings.

Riding your bike requires specific clothing and equipment, even for relatively short and easy trips. It is always better to be prepared… e.g. for bad weather or a sudden drop in your energy levels. The unexpected things are part of the fun!
