Step into (quite literally!) the role of a beekeeper and uncover the secrets of the bee world.

Get ready to:

• Learning about the beekeeping history of the Santuliana family;
• A stroll through the olive groves of Arco to Calaverna, the location of the permanent beehive;
• Visiting the beehive in full beekeeping gear (provided by the beekeeper: protective suit, face shield, and smoker). You'll have the chance to search for the queen in a specially opened beehive and taste honey straight from the comb;
• Getting an insight into the honey extraction workshop and learning how honey vinegar is made;
• Tasting 4 different types of honey from Trentino, Trentino honey vinegar, and a glass of mead, served with bread, a selection of cheeses, and water.

• Before paying, you can choose the time slot that suits you best (10:30 / 14:30 / 16:30)
• You must wear long trousers and sturdy shoes or boots; all other equipment (beekeeper’s suit or smock, gloves, hive tool, smoker) will be provided
• You must not have allergies or intolerances to bee stings, bee venom or hive products
• Children are welcome, as long as they’re at least 5 years old
