L' Abete Rosso is a mountain farm located in Val di Gresta. It grows organic vegetables, raises Black Angus cattle, raises laying hens, tames and trains horses.
The farm is dedicated to organic farming by recovering traditional practices, such as the choice to sustain the production cycle thanks to the presence of animals, a source of nourishment for the land. He has chosen to make use of horses in the cultivation process to work the land in the most natural way possible. He has also chosen to plant seedlings and weed by hand, implementing agronomic practices and techniques that respect the biological fertility of the soil and the natural cycles in which living beings are immersed.
Lorenzo also believes in the great educational potential of the earth and animals, to which he has linked his knowledge and studies. Together with his wife Lucia, he has designed a series of experiential learning moments dedicated to adults and children.
