Extra virgin olive oil as the common thread, the flavours of Alto Garda as the stars, and an exceptional setting to enhance them: on 13 March at 7:00 PM, the Barchessa of Palazzo Roccabruna will host a special evening dedicated to local gastronomy.
A journey through taste and tradition, organised in collaboration with Agriturismo Madonna delle Vittorie, the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino, and APT Garda Dolomiti. At the heart of the event is Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil, a true symbol of a land that holds the secret to the northernmost olive cultivation in Italy. A guided tasting will highlight its distinctive aromas and surprising pairings, celebrating local excellence in a perfect balance of tradition and innovation.
The Evening’s Menu
🔸 Olive oil tasting: Discover the unique characteristics of Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil, featuring a selection from Az. Agr. Madonna delle Vittorie, and an introduction to the APT Garda Dolomiti Oil List.
🔸 Carpaccio of carne salada with white cabbage and shavings of Trentingrana cheese.
🔸 Rosé turnip soufflé on a Blu Fiavé cheese fondue, with a crumble made from Madonna delle Vittorie Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil.
🔸 Fior di latte gelato with olive oil and lemon.
🔸 Tasting of Trentino D.O.C. Vino Santo.
Each course will be paired with a selection of local wines and presented by a professional sommelier, enhancing the flavours and unique characteristics of every combination.
