From March 27 to April 10, DiVinNosiola returns to the Valle dei Laghi and Trento.
Vino Santo Trentino, a Slow Food presidium, is the result of the work of those who believe that it is still necessary to wait for the right time for good things. Things that tell stories of shared knowledge, past memories, and present passions. A wine born of collective effort and ancient traditions; among these is the rite of Pressing, one of the most symbolically important moments, which takes place during Holy Week and marks the transition from drying on the arèle to winemaking. A ritual that becomes an opportunity for meeting and sharing.
Now in its sixteenth edition, the event has become one of the most important appointments in the Valle dei Laghi. It was created to rediscover aspects of the area’s cultural heritage and, above all, its food and wine tradition, which is inextricably linked to the production of Nosiola wine and Vino Santo, two different styles of vinification from a single grape variety: Nosiola, the only indigenous white grape variety of Trentino.
DiVinNosiola is a mindful event because it consciously and respectfully enhances the food, wine, and cultural heritage of the Valle dei Laghi, placing the native Nosiola grape variety and the traditions linked to the production of Vino Santo Trentino at its core.
The focus on sustainable mobility, also through the “Il Vino Santo Trentino” little train, helps reduce the impact of travel and encourages a slower, more immersive way of experiencing the area. Furthermore, the presence of the Slow Food presidium strengthens the commitment to safeguarding quality products, biodiversity, and traditional agricultural practices.

SATURDAY 28 MARCH
AUTOCHTHONOUS WINES, WHEN WINE SPEAKS TO THE HEART – Round Table
Cantina F.lli Pisoni, Pergolese from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
An indigenous wine is always an essential element on special occasions — a silent companion that enriches every moment with its depth and unique character. Every sip tells a story, every aroma evokes emotions. An autochthonous wine is not just an accompaniment; it becomes part of a memory, a shared experience with guests, whether visitors, tourists, or enthusiasts. A memory that remains in the heart because it tells the story of a land and traditions passed down from generation to generation.
With Giuseppe Carrus, editor of the Vini d’Italia guide; Giovanni Bigot, agronomist and creator of the Bigot Index; Clementina Balter, President of the Consorzio Vignaioli del Trentino; Cesare Callegati, Azienda Agricola Callegati (Romagna); Alessandro Fanti, Azienda Agricola Fanti (Pressano); Silvio Rigatti, President of Garda Trentino.
Free admission
With Giada Miori, chef of Ristorante La Casina di Drena, and Giuseppe Carrus, sommelier, editor of the Vini d’Italia guide and contributor to Gambero Rosso.
The “secrets” of Trentino cuisine lie in a combination of local ingredients and time-honored techniques that shape the way dishes are prepared. Giada Miori will show us how to prepare a dish specially chosen to pair with Nosiola and Albana, while Giuseppe Carrus will help us understand how to select the right wine to accompany a special dish.
The Chef will also demonstrate how to prepare finger foods — the very ones we will taste together with two additional glasses of Nosiola and Albana. We will conclude with dessert, traditionally the final course of a meal, paired with Vino Santo from the Valle dei Laghi and Albana Passito.
Ticket €30.00 – Find out more and ➡️ book HERE
Nosiola, the only native white grape variety of Trentino, is the star of this emotional journey through aromas and flavors — an experience that goes beyond simple tasting: a true sensory journey into the heart of Trentino. In collaboration with the Consorzio Vignaioli del Trentino and the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori.

SUNDAY 29 MARCH
We depart from Cantina Pedrotti at Lake Cavedine towards the codecce on the slopes of Mount Gaggio, which separates the Valle dei Laghi from the Cavedine Valley.

Throughout the walk, Lake Cavedine remains in view with its shimmering shades of water.
We reach Cantina Pisoni for a packed lunch (brought by participants) and a glass of wine offered by the winery, then return to Cantina Pedrotti to take part in the traditional Rite of Pressing.
Suitable for moderately trained walkers. Elevation gain 250 m, 9.5 km.
Guide: MM Paolo Piffer.

Traditions cannot be refused. The Rite of Pressing is the most symbolically important moment in the winemaking of the Valle dei Laghi.
For centuries it has taken place during Holy Week, marking the transition from the six-month drying phase of the finest Nosiola grapes to the long fermentation and aging process that produces Vino Santo.
A meticulous craft, a journey through time and collective memory rooted in ancient winemaking wisdom.
The rite will be led by the Confraternity of Trentino Wine.
Free admission
