The summer program at Centrale Fies, an evolution of the historic Drodesera festival, will be dedicated to performing and visual arts through a transdisciplinary perspective, where audiences will have the opportunity to discover the latest results of research by both emerging and well-established artists from around the world. These artists have been carefully selected through the monitoring and scouting work of an international curatorial board with extensive experience.
The program will take place from July 17 to 27, 2025, and will open with an exhibition curated by Barbara Boninsegna and Simone Frangi, during which workshops will also be held with some of the artists featured in the exhibition: Sara Ouhaddou, Théophile Peris, Giulia Crispiani, and Golrok Nafisi.
The entire program will focus on two main themes:
On July 22 and 23, workshops and meetings will be held to develop the legacy of the European project Feminist Futures, offering insights and reflections based on approaches that highlight the intersection between different identities, experiences, and perspectives, with particular attention to the body and power dynamics.
The rest of the program will feature artists supported by Centrale Fies, who have received numerous accolades in recent years, including Marco D’Agostin, Collettivo Cinetico, Giorgia Nardin, Jacopo Jenna, Silvia Calderoni, and Ilenia Caleo, as well as DOM and emerging artists Genny Petrotta and Giorgiomaria Cornelio.
