The day begins in Riva del Garda, with a pleasant stroll through the centre. You can visit the MAG - Museo Alto Garda in the town’s fort, climb up the Torre Apponale or take the panoramic lift to the Bastione: either way, you can feast your eyes on the panorama of Garda at your feet.
Then hop on the boat and sail to Torbole sul Garda. The small town is popular with windsurfers from all over Europe, because here the wind is truly at home.
After the stop, you can take the bus and head towards Arco: this takes about 15 minutes. With a pleasant walk among the olive trees (about 20 minutes) you reach the castle that towers over the town from above. Its ruins are really impressive and conceal frescoes depicting court life in the 14th century.
If you have time for one last stop, it is easy to get to the Varone waterfall, one of the most popular (and most spectacular) attractions of Garda Trentino, by bus (or with the Bus&Go service).
Like our route and wonder if you could also do it by bike? Take to the saddle because the answer is yes. Riva del Garda, Torbole and Arco are connected by cycle paths and minor roads on which you can pedal carefree.
