Eleonora Strino is recognized by critics as one of the most promising young talents on the international jazz scene, as also confirmed by the very recent "Salerno Jazz 2024" award.
The international jazz magazine "Jazz Guitar Today" included her on its February 2020 cover, following features devoted to such musicians as Peter Bernstein, Kurt Rosenwinkel, John Scofield and other great guitarists of the current scene.
On March 23, his book "Bebop Scales for Jazz Guitar" was published worldwide. May 2023 saw the release of her first album "I Got Strings" as bandleader, recorded live in Berlin with two jazz legends, Greg Cohen on double bass and Joey Baron on drums.
On stage with her are the talent of Giulio Corini and the creativity of Zeno De Rossi, splendid realities of the Italian jazz scene.
The project tells the story of great women through original compositions including "Matilde" precisely, revisiting jazz standards made famous by legendary American singers with popular songs from southern Italy and South America.
